To mark World Sepsis Day, AusPIPS together with the Immune Deficiencies Foundation of New Zealand held an informative seminar about Sepsis, a life-threatening infection that patients with primary immunodeficiency are at higher risk of developing. The webinar covered what Sepsis is, why primary immunodeficient patients are more at risk, signs and symptoms, treatments and prevention strategies with expert speakers Professor Karin (Kas) Thursky and Hannah Rotherham, with a lived experience account of Sepsis from our President, Jackie.
