We are extremely proud to announce the induction last night of our President and Co-Founder Jackie Murphy on to the Victorian Honour Roll of Women.
For over 15 years, Jackie has been using her lived experience of rare genetic immune disease, primary immunodeficiency to raise awareness and advocate for improved equitable healthcare access and outcomes for individuals living with primary immunodeficiencies.
Jackie's power voice of lived experience, and the stakeholder relationships that she has cultivated with her honest and vulnerable sharing of this experience has contributed to her being a valued nationally recognised patient advocate and community leader.
Jackie's induction as a "Change Agent" on the Victorian Honour Roll of Women acknowledges and celebrates Jackie's selfless and humble endeavours bringing lived experience to the forefront for national policy makers and pharmaceutical companies alike. Jackie's contributions were crucial in securing Medicare funded access to Subcutaneous Immunoglobulin, national newborn screening for Severe Combined Immunodeficiency and national access to COVID-19 prophylactic treatment Evusheld.
